How about a "Where it's made" forum?

Be pretty handy to log on TGO and do a quick search for a part and find out where it was made, as listed by other forum users, I think. I just bought tierods from NAPA, for instance, told the counter guy (an old friend) that if they were made in China I didn't want them. Had to order the parts and when I picked them up he said "Not made in China, just for you." Yep, Taiwan is not China. Sure would have been nice to check in here and find out ahead of time what I was getting, or not getting. Steering parts, brakes, drivetrain parts are all being made in Asia these days and some of those parts are pretty shabby. How about it folks? Could be a very handy tool.

I'd like something like that but add more then just where it's made but where to get it and other options and reviews on the produce all on one page. I don't know if a form setup is best (maybe a ThirdGen Wiki?) but it would be most helpful to find Replacement part and Aftermarket easier and cheaper. Like I have been looking at getting new headlight but don't need super lights just nice ones and was luck that I came a cross a post about the Silverstars. If I had not seen that I would have spent extra money and wasted time try to redo the lighting setup that to me right now would have been over kill.
