I live in Edna...about an hour and 15 from Sugar Land / Houston and 30 from Victoria and I need to get my new engine balanced before I can do anything else to it. I am building a 383, got all the machine work done, clearenced it, now I am stuck in the assembly process because NO ONE within 60 miles of me can balance an engine. If any of y'all knows of a good reliable shop/place in Houston, Rosenburg, SL, or preferably on my side of Houston, don't feel like going inside the loop, PLEASE let me know!!! I would like to go somewhere that someone has had experience with or at least can vouch for their work....but any help would be appreciated. BTW, does anyone get together in this area, probably not in Edna, but maybe Victoria? About all we have here is Texana Raceway but it is a dirt track so no runs on that but an abundant supply of super straight, long, flat back roads with nothing but fields on either side...great for late night time runs!!
