I was wondering if any of you had experience with any of the boneyards in Houston. Where are the good ones? And by 'good' I mean large selection of cars, cheap, let you get your own parts. It doesn't necessarily need to be a thirdgen-heavy yard, although that would be helpful.

Most of them are hooked together with a radio system--if one does not have what U want they can get on there and put out a call--may take a couple trips but U should find one with what U need.

I actually live near the medical center, but I don't mind driving to get what I need.

I know there are a couple around south 610 loop and Almeda as well as Cullen Blvd, that I have gone too. Could drive right to them but could not tell U the name. Drag out the yellow pages and start looking for ones in that area or close to you--call them and ask about a couple of the parts U need and ask them if they are hooked into the Houston radio system that links all the yardss together, is the best I can tell U--Sorry couldn't help any more.
