Hello everybody!
Hi everyone, please forgive me for this non-tech related post but it's been a long time since I've been around and just wanted to poke my head in and see who all was still around from the old thirdgen.org/thirdgen.com days........
I saw Dirk's name mentioned on the homepage but was curious as to all the others.. I'm still around although life is a lot busier than before... I still have both my TTA's, my 86 383tpi and my 83 MSE car as well as a couple parts cars still around.. Are there enough people around to do a SWMG reunion? there wasn't really a non-tech forum to post anything like this so I figured this was the least "tech" of the forums to use.. let me know if you're still out there and what's been going on. I havn't even driven one of my thirdgen's in about 6 month's or more but my wife drives my hardtop TTA to work once in awhile.. I work next door to where I live so I don't really drive much at all anymore except on weekend's or trips.. I need to get my TTA to the track this year at least once... Maybe the Pontiac Southern Nationals or the Pontiac Uprising in Kansas this fall. well, hope to hear from someone who recognizes me... Kyle

Welcome back...this is the right place to post your subject....the regional gathering boards are "non tech" boards for us to get together and talk about whatever as long as it is third gen related.

hey Rocky... glad to see someone is around still.. just browsing the boards once in awhile, I don't see too many firmiliar faces... seems the board has become more business than pleasure.. It's a shame because the board was started more like a casual "hangout" for those of us with third-gen's to get away from the 4th-gen pages... I remember back to the old SLP board, F-body.org board, thirdgen.com and then the crew that started up Thirdgen.org way back when.. I've been trying to remember when this page first started... It must have been around 96-98 because we had the big "Gathering" in Norman in 99 like you said.. I've still got lots of leftover stuff from that deal.. Heck, I've still got the official paperwork and stuff for the club somewhere!
Some of the few people that stick out were Dirk of course, Steven from Ft.Worth I believe and the guy with the RS from up by.....North Texas off Highway 75, his name and the town aren't coming to me right now... Then there were Frankie Rider with the GTA sourcepage, Cody Hiler, Tom Kelliher, TC, Dana Brandt from Austin and a few others I can picture their faces but can't pick any names out of my brain.. I've got tons of photos from the old SWMG's in Arlington we used to have.. I'll have to try and dig some out and get them on here one of these days.... good to hear from ya, maybe some others will poke their heads in one of these days... Kyle

HA! Man I loved Cody's formula. There was also Gregg with the 1LE from dallas. I havent seen or heard from any of those guys in a long time.
I know I was on some version or another of TGO in 97'. I stopped hanging out here as much when Non-tech was banned. (what a shame
)
