Last year, the first year of doing it, we had 33 cars from most of Texas. Not that it was ever limited to just Texas people, but the thought of trying to expand it as more of a South Central event, has come up.

What do y'all think? New Mexico, Oklahoma, Louisiana, etc.....Would y'all be interested in making this that big? Would you come? What would get you come come? Car show? Cruise? On site Photographer for both group & individual pics? There is 1 kinda local road race course, but no drag racing lots. Not sure on the rental fee on such a place & that would require registration fees. The goal is to keep this as free as possible & maybe only having the Show entrants paying to enter. The other people just hanging out, no trophies/awards for them.

We had 33 cars for our very first show last year & would like to hit a minimum of 50 this year. And keep growing every ye!ar

I'm interested in this as well... one of us may want to put a post in the Oklahoma thread to alert them to this thread.

I would expect the people in OK, and AR to be more likely to attend an event like this if it was in the Dallas area (shreveport area too) but then it puts it farther away from houston and San Antonio, so we're not going to win either way

Memorial weekend is the last weekend of the month, some people might have different plans for that weekend already!

facebook would be good, especially if you have friends that have 3rd gens that aren't on here or any of the local groups.
