HOUSTON-F-BODY.ORG BEATS THE SUMMER HEAT!
Starting with our upcoming June 15th meet, HFB will be moving its long standing meeting hours from 2 - 5 pm to 5 - 8 pm. Doing this provides several benefits, the most obvious of which is not having to stand around during the hottest hours of the day with the sun beating over our heads and cars. We also believe that many people would have liked to have joined us at previous meets, but work or other obligations made it impossible. Finally, meeting in the early evening gives us the opportunity to cruise out to other places or events, which will keep things fresh for us.
Come out to our first late event and help us fill the Texadelphia parking lot!!

It is as Texadelphia on Westhiemer, 1 block West of Fountain view. There is a map on the front page here:
http://www.houston-f-body.org
Are you thinking about stopping by? If so, do you still have those pedals and cross member? I'll be there with $$$ if you do.

We are a very family friendly, laid back group. I've brought my 6 & 4 year old daughters with me before, and I'd do it again if they didn't get bored 5 minutes after we got there!

I've brought my 7 Y.O. son several times. Our new, later, summer time hours are a little late for him though.
The "overflow" parking lot (behind "Mama's Cafe" next door) has always been empty, so we have been parking there lately. There is a lot of room.
If you don't see anyone out by the cars we are probably in the covered patio area (with a view of the parking lot) eating.

I'm in the middle of swapping out the injectors on my car in an attempt to resolve a stalling issue. If the runners cooperate and go on, (and issue resolved) maybe I'll make it with my 9 and 11 y.o. boys.
