GA Emission laws
So I'm looking to get some headers for my maro, and when I went to get an emission inspections (im in the metro area) I noticed they no longer check under the hood. Does this mean I don't need AIR and O2 sensors and all that crap?

depends is it a 96 or newer if so then if you do away with tem then yourcheck engine light will come one and u will fail everytime. though i heard there is a program for that you can load into the comp but never have done that. either way car will have to be tuned very well to pass.

Yeah, I noticed this last year too. He just stuck a device on the hood, a cap on my gas nozzle and a prong up the exhaust pipe.
Failed the first time due to my gas cap failing. Went back and that was that.
Then I started thinking about why he didn't open the hood. . . Well, hell, if I had know that, I would have just gotten some Hookers with just the O2 bung instead of having those miles of piping running under the hood. I don't know how that would effect the emissions though. I mean I know that the AIR is used when it's cold, but if you get your car hot enough before testing it really shouldn't matter should it?

yea I dont think the L03 will have problems passing emissions, but they used to check under the hood for air etc. Now I just need to find some headers and get em on before the gathering
