Port Richey 84 Camaro - Even though I have been MIA for a while. I hopefully will get her running soon. She's been down for too long. I am hopeful for within the month.

I would be interested, depends on the time and location. I'm located in Jax, I'd want to stay within 150mi radius. We'll be camping out at the 24hr race this weekend.

I was down at the Speedway todaty in the garage area, a buddy of mine is one of the directors of track operations, so I get credentials and just rome around. Very cool cars and such, I will get to take pics of my Z on the high bank this year (I hope) he has to get the clearance; I plan to get my Z-28, ZO6 and 67 SS all together on the track for a pic. I need to finish both Camaros first, I would be into a meet when I finish, probably March or April

91, you live near Daytona? I Have the ultimate 4 day pass but I only want to park in-feild Sat night only. It's hard to get info from the information center. If I go really early sat morning, do you think I be able to get a spot in-feild? last year I had in feild parking passes and couldn't get in around 9 am.

Port Charlotte/Punta Gorda area here, sandwiched right between Sarasota and Fort Myers, land of retirees! Easter can't come soon enough. Not looking to sound harsh or anything, but I swear this snowbird season has been one of the worst it seems?

Here in Florida. I live in Pace near Pensacola. It would be cool if there was some kind of annual Florida meet. I vote for Tampa or Gainesville. That is about the half way point for anybody coming from the ends. Maybe during the Gator Nationals or something in Gainesville

Gainesville. So far, I'm only the second one in three pages. I hardly ever see a third gen here. Land of the Prius.

Ah, someone who has visited the Land of the Prius, I see. There is a third gen convertible for sale on NW 16th Avenue. I wanted to stop and look but I got the Evil Eye from the wife and decided it was best to continue on (I'll stop today after work when she isn't with me!).

Nice bro. yeah I went to college at UF for six years before joining the Navy. I can't look at cars with my wife either. I get the major stink eye. Plus I can't work on my cars until her OMG long honey do list is done.

Re: florida 3g owners
Just moved to Viera (Melbourne) from Maryland this past October. Brought my '87 Z28 with me on the first trip (383 stroker, 4:10 rear, dead transmission that needs beefing up), just closed on my house in Maryland and brought my '92 T/A vert (stock 305 TPI) down with me this time. (I also have a 2000 T/A a friend is driving down next week).
I only had one '92 T/A vert WS6 left in Maryland, but gave that one back to the original owner. Made me sad, but I don't have as much parking as I used to have in Maryland and having four is a little difficult (I also have an '04 Dodge Hemi truck), five would just mean a lot of money in vehicle storage.
Anyway, hoping to find a few gatherings in the area to cruise to and meet some new friends. My car buddies were my best friends in Maryland. Always there when I needed them!

Re: florida 3g owners
Thank you...started with a Christmas ebay win (on the '87) that was nicely "pimped" and then I started buying every f-body I could afford. Some I've sold, most I didn't, lol -- much to the chagrin of my housemate.

Re: florida 3g owners
I started a thread on here with a schematic for getting it to work 2 speed. Pretty popular fan amongst junk yard hot rodders, they come in Thunderbirds/Cougars and 3.8 Taurus. Just as good if not better than anything the aftermarket has to offer and their about $30 at your local pull a part.Google Ford 2 speed fan and you'll see how popular they are.
edit - here's the link to the thread about me installing the fan https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/cool...d-2-speed.html

Yep.... I love it. Only takes about 30 seconds to cool it down and the a/c blows colder to. The stock single fan is just retarded it has about a inch gap off the radiator and is nothing compared to the Ford fan.

Re: florida 3g owners
I'm all honesty, I have no clue. If that's what you've got and it cools just fine I say leave well enough alone. If your over heating in traffic from not a big enough fan though, you can't go wrong with the Ford fan. Like I said earlier it's as good, maybe better than anything the aftermarket has to offer. It even has the nice "s" blades like all the aftermarket fans.
