I have been thinking of a way to network, to get the parts we need. Maybe this is the way..... If you need a part that someone in the SW region might have, post it here. This is not a thread for things you have for sale. Start a new thread for that. I'll go first.... I NEED: A parking brake cable for an 86 IROC with 10 bolt disc rear end. Also park brake lever/handle. Seems simple, let's see if it works...

i would recommend going to checker for the brake cable the raybestos they sell fit great and are cheap vs napa or autozone etc that i could not get the supposed cable to work.

Ok, this seems to be working...
master_disaster; 92whitez28 has some of the 91-92 gfx you want. He has rear cover, rear quarter extensions both door filler panels,and drivers side rocker panel. PM him and let him know you are interested.....

sfeeney; 92whitez28 might have the main dash you need... I didnt think checker sold them for the disc rear... I will check it out. Thanks!!

well i already got the cluster, gas door and exhaust off that iroc hes parting out i took a look at the gfx and the passenger side is all busted plus if i remember someone already showed interest in the chin spoiler, if the passenger side wasnt destroyed i would have taken those too lol im just trying to get it all in one complete set

i do like the idea of this thread way to go

unfortunately i say toss the 9 bolt, theyre nice but parts for them are harder than hell to find, 10 bolts have more readily available parts at alot nicer prices

Thanks, master_disaster. I got the 91-92 gfx for my RS from about 4 different cars. It is really hard to find all of the pieces on one car. I would take the parts he has and then you just need the chin and high rise. The chin is the hardest piece to find.

If not there is a 9 bolt on a blue and gray firebird transam at pull a part on 27th ave and lincoln that you could get parts from for your 9 bolt

If that dash is near mint not cracked or warped and still looking good im down...

How about a 9 Bolt Diff cover?? Anyone have luck with getting past emissions? The previous owner removed the Air injection tubes, Cat, and Diverter valve. I have gotten the diverter valve and cat fixed but I do not have the air injection system on. Any suggestions.

hey sean do you know what posi and gears are in there? the one i picked up has an eaton grenadelock in it lol hows the brake setup lookin on that cuz if its better than mine i may just have to take it off your hands instead of buying new calipers for this one

I have a Hooker Aerochamber setup, 3" in, dual 2.5" out with chrome quad tips. It's a slick looking setup, sounds great too, let me know if you're interested.

well i cant help with the door but i can help you with the wiring part.

Heres a link to Autozones site, they have all the wiring diagrams online just choose the one that fits your application, should be under body wiring/ body continued if i remember correctly.

Keep in mind that your courtesy lights, cigar lighter, and hatch plus a few others are all tied into that circuit. Should all have orange wires running to them denoting the Acc. Fuse, the 20 amp you keep blowing. Id check your cigar lighter, mine kept blowing the fuse when i hit a good bump the side would short out. I just took it out and pulled it apart, cleaned it up and put it back, works fine now

I actually have a set of these off a 92 in white. The person that removed them from the wreck cut the wires though so splicing it all together might take some work.

Second, ^ hes right, sfeeny is the go to guy for parts, i get most of my stuff from him because hes constantly parting cars, chances are hes got the parts youll need,, always good prices too.
