Parting out 87 IROC-Z
MY Iroc-z was wrecked while i was in the Navy the damage was pretty bad, i have taken the fuel tank, TPI system with harness out and put it on an other car, still have 305 long block with a cracked oil pan and a good 700R4 with a cracked oil pan. The car has 110k maroon exterior with tan interior.
these are some of the good parts the car still has:
305 long block(bad pan)
700r4(bad pan)
Set of T-tops
good hatch
good passanger door
good power everything
passanger side tail lights(checkered)
small dent on hood missing one louver
I still have the complete car in my back yard -the parts i mentioned, so if anybody needs anything let me know, make an offer on anything you would like to have. Thanks
-Mike

Re: Parting out 87 IROC-Z
Dude! That sucks! I need some misc. parts, but won't have cash until payday next week! How was the interior? I need the firewall carpet guard, it's up under the dash on the firewall, held in by black plastic clips.
I'm also looking for a nose and front ground effect, but because you didn't mention them I expect they're pretty torn up.
Could use the console lid if it looks good.

I am not sure how much work is involved in pulling that thing off, but if you would like it it's still there in one piece? The interior is complete even have that weird rare thing that hangs in-between the t-tops with a map light and a lil pocket bag the flashlight is missing though. The shifter plate is there but it's pretty dusty, i would have to try and clean it if you would like to buy it.

Re: Parting out 87 IROC-Z
The whole interior is Tan and dirty, mostly dusty. this car has been sitting since xmas of 06 that's when it was wrecked but i couldn't do anything with it because i was in the Navy and deployed at that time, i got back from deployment and it sat in my yard for almost three years. I will try to take a picture of it and send post it.
Buy the way this is an Arizona car so there's no rust on this thing anywhere.

I'm interested in IROC GFX emblems if you have them, gray ones. Also, which hood louver do you have? I could use a new passenger one.
