i got a 89 RS L03 t tops parts car, no engine or trans (bought it that way) has some aftermarket 18'' chrome rims with tires there about a half inch in diameter too small and have some curb rash. lemme know if u need anything guys, car is red but has like 4 coats of paint so id recommend sand and repaint. lol

The bird looks pretty clean for a V6. Doesn't have to be fast IMO. Think of it as a cruise around car.

The TPI setup looks like its from a corvette setup.

I've found alot of parts for mine on the phoenix craigslist. Got my supercharger, T56, Nitrous kit, and lots of others from there. Just sold my old motor and tranny setup through there too. There for sure needs to be a thread on here for it though since alot of things i've went to check out the people were either shady as hell or think they have gold and way overprice everything.

yeah man for sure! i send a lot of emails that are like this:

hey, saw the ad, let me know when the price goes down, because that isnt worth that much new

haha, i get a lot of non or rude responses but oh well.

one of the big sellers for me when i got mine was the abundance of parts on the CL out here, but AFTER i got mine, its been a ghost town for firebird/TA's.

had a few (what i thought were) good finds, all fell through due to the seller not knowing wtf they were selling.

Haha i know! I had a guy try to sell me a "T5" that ended up being an old 4 speed auto off of an older camaro. Or the emails of saying "Will this fit my ...." even had a guy ask if my old intake manifold would fit his dodge dart when I put my ZZ4 intake on CL.

I seen about 6 third gens (both birds and maros) at pick and pull and pull a part here in Chandler when I got mine. Now there are 2 that are pretty much all frames and nothing else.

yeah man, i hit the same yards a few times a week (havent gone in about a month though ) and when i see a "new" one in the yards, its pretty much a frame, and every part still on it is mangled.

i usually hit the ones off buckeye and 27th ave. gotta go this week for some stuff for my DD.

Never been there. I'm new to AZ so I'm still finding some places out. I'll have to go check it out. Everything is pretty much new on it but I'm wanting some better seats and a few things to finish it up.

I just needed it gone man, I'm pretty negotiable. I trade all the time so if you had something to trade i would have done it too. It's sitting in my laundry room right now with the carb opening still covered from the factory lol

Thanks scootermunch. I got mine out of a red 91 firebird at pull a part. Cloth is great and I re-dyed them black, but I'm wanting black leather, probably out of a 4th gen. I'll probably regret that in August but still on the look lol

The 4thgen greys are a "sorta" match. I have a truckload of parts coming soon. Should be at least 3 sets of 4thgen seats in there (Black and grey leather, I think.) Also have some Z-06 seats coming in (Those, I know, are black leather.)

Hey guys I just bought a differential with the gov loc posi out of an 87 amaro for my 92 Camaro. It has disc brakes which is the main reason I bought it. Well what I need is a new set of spider gears for it or a whole posi carrier. Wanting to stay as cheap as possible and it will be on the street so no lockers. lol Thanks guys.

hey, i'm gonna be around north phoenix tomorrow, and know there are a few salvage yards off the 17 just north of the 101, are they any good? need to pick up some stuff for the daily driver (so the TA doesnt become the daily driver haha) and maybe with some luck, run into a 3rd gen or something. anyone been to one of those yards?

SO im gonna hit up my arizona buddies for a specific part that apparently is impossible to find in washington...

I need the hard fuel lines for the TPI setup that go from the rubber lines to the lines coming off the front of the intake, its like a foot long, if you have a TPI you know what im talkin about

Money is kinda tight (my daughter is almost 1 and my car fund has really depleted after buying so much forumla, that crap is insanely expensive!) so if you wanna let it go for the TGO discount of cheap id really appreciate it!

i know what your talkin about! most of the third gens out here are missing motors when they get to the yards (and by most i mean i have yet to find one with the motor still in) and 90% are carb'd. but i hit the yards frequently and will check this week for you.

i'm cranky because there are no good firebird part outs here since i got the TA. when i bought it, i scouted to see how hard it would be finding parts, and there were part outs all over! now, bubkis!
