SOUNDS LIKE A SCAM TO ME. A SMALL NUMBER OF THESE CARS THAT OWNER CLAIMS HAVE VATS OR AFTERMARKET SECURITY PROBLEMS MAY HAVE ACTUALLY THAT. IF YOU KNOW HOW TO BYPASS THESE SYSTEMS YOU MIGHT GET AN OK CAR FOR CHEAP. CAUTION: MOST OF THEM HAVE MUCH BIGGER PROBLEMS.

yeah, thats what i'm saying. i dont buy cars if i cant see them run. i offered a few people to fix the vats for them, they pay 30 for the cylinder, and the 40 for the key and i'll do the labor for free. had a few not respond, and had a couple say "well if i get it running, i'm gonna want more for it"

hahaha.

i'm not from here, but this whole used car deal in the valley is funny to me. ha.

Some of the best deals I have ever gotten were on cars that didnt run. Just make sure it turns over... You always take a chance when you buy an old car, but at least with a non-running one you know what you are getting. remember: Most people are not mechanics, or mechanically inclined.... If you get a V-6, get the 3.1.

hahaha, thats the reason why i want to find a v6, all those in the yards still have most the parts. plus it'll primarilly be a daily driver since the caddy died. and i've built up quite the collection of parts for the TA, dont want them to go to waste.
