Oh come now guys, I love seeing how that 4th gen mentality ruffles your feathers. :sillylol: You can see it here in this post. Have you guys forgetten I am about the only true Camaro enthusiast in this group? I love all of them. I just like playing the 'typical 4th gen owner' (according to 3rd gen owners perspective) role. I hate the attitude of 'my X gen is better than those other POS'. What fun would it be if I were to just say ... 'Yeah, James car is running great, so is Vincent's, Don's, ... alot of the obvious, less Kevin's ). I can't really say I miss my 3rd gen, because I have something now that is more fullfilling in my life ... something that 3rd gen wouldn't even be able to compare to, by a long shot ... not even my SS.
I think the only guys that know I am messing around with 3rd genners (just for fun) are Mikey, Huckleberry and Don ... possibly Vincent too, but he's got a good poker face. Some of you act like you've never been in a friendly flame fest, don't take it personal guys! :sillylol: What did I say in my previous post above?
IT'S ALL IN GOOD FUN!

I think we both know I’d have a better chance hanging on to a bucking bronco for eight seconds then getting a high horse G body into the 1.8’s on radials. Now on a sticky tire, I would say that its more probable than not provided you’ve got enough converter for me to lean on.
Nice try buddy, I’ve watched that car go sideways at tip in.

Actually it should be a bit better now, threw an airbag in there. Following the turbo Buick guys, they are putting down some nasty 60' times. Just need one more piece, if this doesnt work.

Uh James
Is your progress done yet? Someone else is going to sneak up behind you. I might be driving 2 different cars and they are not mine.

just need to tune it some more......closer now that the BLMs aren't at 108
Duty cycle at 6K RPM is in the low 70's......which is probably where the OEMs are at.

Vince, its going to be like shooting aluminum cans off a fence. I’m going to pick whatever you’re driving off one by one.

did you let the people know you aren't driving yours because you always break things like the engine, tranny, and rear end?

THe BLMs were pegged rich after the injector swap. It seemed to run decent for the couple day before I had the opportunity and drive to stick the scanner on it and burn a few chips for it. It would have been nice to have remembered the programmer at the track. I had to do major remapping so the baslines I refined a couple weeks ago are no longer valid and I have to treat this saturday as another tuning session. I still haven't performed at WOT runs with the scanner and I won't have time to do that until saturday afternoon either. So maybe for a run or two you might be able to get a quicker ET than Mike....maybe
Vince, what cars are you bringing? If Raul's is one car, who is the owner of the other?

I'm not bringing anyone's car. I'm just assisting their cars. Raul may not show up. Don an I haven't heard from him. His rearend is ready. Tomorrow is Friday and it's my last day at the shop helping Don with some of his work. I have to work Saturday but I get off at 3:00pm in Los Angeles. I was going to help Raul install the rearend at the shop while I still have time on Friday.
Now, as far as the other person goes, ya'll just have to wait until Saturday.
