Anyone near riverside that can help replace fuel pump?

The fuel pump on my 84 firebird went out recently and I was wondering if there was anyone in the inland empire (riverside) that would be able to help me get the car back on the road? Or maybe have a suggestion for a shop in the area with reasonable prices that knows what they're doing.

Thanks.

I'm in woodcrest, it would be fun to do this since i have a baffled gas tank waiting to go in my '88 and wouldn't mind the practice .

Wouldn't an '84 be a carb with a manual fuel pump on the motor?

In '84 the L69 cars were having problems with vapor lock and GM issued a TSB to install a helper pump in the tank. Early build cars could have this installed at the dealer; the rest were done at the factory. Perhaps this is an L69 car.

Re: Anyone near riverside that can help replace fuel pump?

Hmmm, now I'm questioning this. I guess I just assumed that this car had a fuel pump in the tank like my later third gens, I don't know these earlier third gens as well. Basically, the car cranks, but it is not getting fuel on start up. The car is an 84 Firebird that has a 350 swap from a 91 Camaro that is now carbed. The swap was done by the previous owner though, so I don't really know the specifics of the swap.

If it has the mechanical pump it should be easy to check.
Autozone shows both electric and mechanical pumps for that year camaro.

If it has an in-tank electric pump you can hear it prime when you turn the key to the ACC position just before cranking the engine.
