Firehwk rims 17x9 tire width?
Hey im looking at these rims (hope the link will work) and i see they are 17x8 just wondering what the max tire size i could get on them without rubbing or stretching the sidewalls. i know these are the same width as stock thirdgen 16'' rims but could someone help?

My friend runs 265s on an 8 inch rim and road races it without problems. That is the widest I've seen on an 8 inch rim. - Adam

what tire calculator are you talking about? what im really trying to do is get a rim with the right amount or offset and backspacing to simply bolt onto a thirdgen that i can get 275's or larger tires in there, or at least in the back. do you know of any rims like that. the only ones i know of are ROH ZS's know of any others?
