need help
Hi i bought Ronal Firehawk wheels for my 91 Z.. Anyways my dad is a complete moron he bought 245/45/17 for the front on a 9.5 wide tire! I'll told him its not gonna fit correctly and hes stubborn about it and continued. So somehow the tire flew off the tire machine and the rim slammed onto the side of the machine ( i was in a diff room and heard him screaming) Now theres two big ugly deep scratches on my firehawk rim My dad knows a place that can fix them and it cost 200 bucks! Should i just buy a seperate rim or let this place fix it? Each firehawk rim was like 225 bucks each... So id be saving 25 bucks.. So should i get another rim and keep this as a spare? Im not sure If Hawksthirdgenparts will let me buy one rim from them... So i have no idea what to do. Any comments or suggestions will be great.. thank you

No matter how much you dislike your father, it would be more tasteful of you to keep such thoughts about him to yourself and not post them publically. It doesn't make you look go in other peoples eyes. Should always show respect for elders even if they don't to you- makes you a better person than they.
I personally would just buy another rim. You may have even tweeked the rim bead when it was damaged.
