firebirds sinking back end?

firebirds sinking back end?
ive noticed alot of third gen firebirds i see around here look like theyre kinda sinking in the back when theyre drivin by. like the back end is real close 2 the ground but the top is where it usually is. why is that? bad shocks or springs? its looks like a common thing

Shocks only control the oscillation of a spring, it literally dampens out the ability of a spring to bounce around uncontrolably.
Or people are fitting lowering kits a lot.
So if its sagging, its springs usually, mine always looks too high due to 205\70\14s fitted , low profile tyres and different rims would drop the front and rear quite a bit.

Mine's actually more of the opposite. The front end looks a bit lower than the rear, probably due to being heavier in the front with the engine. I just recently changed my struts and shocks, though... it looks almost level now but the front end is still slightly lower.

Just get the wife\girlfriend to pile on a few pounds and get her to ride in the back, problem solved.
Must admit, since junking the 245\60\14s on the rear that were on when i bought it, mine looks high, and looks like its on pram wheels now, damn this go for "original look" crap.

Don't get me wrong... I don't really have a problem with the rear being slightly higher. Just seems unusual that the original poster notices that the Firebirds in his area have lower rears than fronts, considering more of the weight of the car is in the front.
Perhaps there are only stock V6s running around his neck of the woods?

accually some of em are v6. i was thinkin the springs were goin bad 2. its just alot i notice look like the back end is getting close to the ground. theyre arent too many thirdgens around here. in fact i dont see many v8 ones at all. theres a few v8 camaro thirdgens but no firebirds like mine. witch is great to me
