Alignment specs question.

Alignment specs question.

I've read the faq, and a number of posts with links to other sites with specs, but most all of them are different from one another. I have a 91 TA with 245/50/16s and want to have some better than stock specs to have them align it to when I get my car realigned tomorrow after I fixed a problem i just had.

A couple of the various specs I've seen listed are...

Camber 0.30 +/- 0.50
Caster 4.80 +/- 0.50
Total Toe 0.00 +/- 0.20

----

Caster +5 +5.5
Camber -1 -1
Toe 3/32


Most of the others I've seen are variations on those 2 with debate on whether to add a bit more here, lesson it there, etc. This is an unmodified, stock height car. What should I hand the guy for specs when I get it aligned? It will be for everyday street and highway driving also.

The last spec you posted is a very aggresive street specs and can still yeild inside tire wear.
This is slightly more aggressive than factory but will give you good tirewear, slightly better turnin bite, and high speed stability with good even tire wear.

caster L 4.5*/ R 5.0*
camber L -0.5*/R -0.5* (+or- 0.2*)
toe-in 3/32"

HPE, would that spec be good for my 92 Camaro RS that is also running 245/50/16s?
(slighlty better that stock turning but with reasonable tire wear sounds good to me)

I am taking mine back to the shop tomorrow after a sh*tty alignment yesterday and wanna give them numbers!!
PS - maybe I am an idiot but I can't even find the FAQ section that shows the specs...although I can find a dozen posts saying they are there!

Last year I had an alignment done after new tires, steering box, all poly bushings, new rotors pads bearings, and all new steering linkage were installed. After a year ( less than 22,000 miles on 60,000 mile Falkens ) I have to replace the tires. Inside tread is gone on both front tires. The tech showed me my spec sheet, swearing my car had been dialed in to within factory specs... I have 225 60 15 tires on my stock height 92 RS. The new tires and alignment are going to be done this week. What should I tell the tech??? Thanx in advance
