Conv. Chasis

Hi, does anyone know how much power a stock conv. can handle? I plan on putting a larger motor in, but dont want to worry about bending the uni-body. Thanks

Add a SFC at the minimum. People are running 350's in their 'verts without any problems.

I'm pretty sure it already has the sfc installed. I'm planning on a stroked L-98, with around 350 horse, i don't know where that would put the torqe # at & isn't that the main concern with the frame?(The tork.) thanks agin, Troy

I hope you are not confusing the sheet metal reinforcement ASC rivited in place along the outer frame edge for a SFC. It helps, but isn't sufficient. You need to have a SFC welded in as well. Only 2 mfg's SFC's work for convertibles. Alstons and Kenny Brownes.
