Car: 1987 Firebird, Dad bought it new
Engine: 5.7L Vortec w/ LT4 Hot cam
Transmission: 700r4 transgo shiftkit 2600 stall
Axle/Gears: 3.42 '02 SS 6 spd rear
c4 suspension?
i have come along a good deal on a C4 parts car with everytihng good but windsheild and interior my plan is to take a few choise items and part the rest out, what suspension iitems if any are verified to work on a 3rd gen, i wasinterested in the IRS rear and the streering system specifically but is there anything else thats an upgrade and will work??? i planned on nabing the brakes for sure and im gonna check the brake boards for the C4 swap aprts

If you go through the suspension (maybe fabrication) board, there is a member who did a very nice job at the IRS swap. He made a thread about it. You can also search through the dual exhaust thread. He posted pics of his on there so you can find his name.

ive done a little research and decided, swapping the irs is too much work not enough reward for me, if i get this vette ill part it out, but im keeping the brakes was wondering about the steering system though and havent found an answer to that
