I was wondering if anyone out there has one and how you went about doing it. As far as i know there isnt a drop in tubular k member for the 60* V6 when it comes to third gens. What do you think would be the best route to take if i wanted one? Any suggestions would be great. Thanks

Re: 60* V6 Tubular K Member

There are none because there is no market for one. That said, I'm doing this for my 92 until I end up.swapping a lsx. Should just be a matter of building a solid motor mount to attach to the v6 engine side mount, and bolt it to the v8 pattern on the tubular k. The v6 mounts are further back than the v8 mount so the new mount plate will hang off the back of the k member mount pad, which is fine if the new mount is engineered correctly. I'm waiting for my k to be made, then I will make the mounts. IKll post or pm you pics and specs when I'm done, it will be later this winter, hopefully before spring, are you listening UMI, lol?

Ha ha, you know that UMI is going to finally make that K-member late this year, and then the world is going to end the next week on December 12th right? Lol

And like the guy above said, there's nothing on the market for this. But nothing is stopping you from making an adapter between the K-members bolt hole pattern & the mounts on the motor. If you can weld that is
