Matching shocks to springs?
Can anyone help? Please! Okay, I'm getting much higher-rate rear springs for my '84 T/A WS6. This is because I've already added nearly 200 pounds worth of custom rear hitches, ( near 150 for the rear, just over 50 for the gooseneck with bracing ) plus I'm adding a CE cage, CE sub-cons, and Mac sub-cons. Plus the "new" rear axle is at least 50% heavier than stock. New rear springs are MOOG CC659 ( special order ) Here's how they compare to our typical CC635 and 5665 rear springs: Wire diameter is 0.640", not 0.500 or 0.485" Installed height is 11.00", not 10.25 or 10.00" intended static load is 678#, not 518 or 580# Rate is 293 pounds per inch, not 104 or 107 I figure I need a good bit more damping to go with these, but have no idea what my options are, or how to choose, or who to call? Got any links?

Re: Matching shocks to springs?
I'm thinking maybe add another pair of shocks behind the axle?
