Hey Jon I read your email a while ago. I actually built the circuit a while ago I just didnt have a laptop with a working serial port to use it. I put it on my car last night and I really dont know what I'm looking at. I did a search for winaldl but I didnt really learn what I needed to know. I kind of got a picture of what I'm looking at. I got the understanding that the blms and int have something to do with each other. I also got the idea that the spark counts give your a total count of knocks and where they were detected. So can you explain winaldl a little more for me. I know this will be a good lesson for all the newbies (of winaldl) like me on the board. Also I need a good recommendation of what diy prom equipment i need. I have about 300 bucks starting to burn a hole in my pocket. I want to do my cam, swap but I'd rather do the prom chips first. What i'm asking for is part numbers for the eprom equipment. Any suggestions from any member would be helpful.

by the way any grammar errors encountered are due to the lack of sleep that I force upon myself every night. I have this bad habit of learning all types of things when I should be sleeping. And I'm typing on a laptop. Every time that I touch the mouse pad the cursor moves somewhere and I lose my train of thought. So with that said goodnight!:hail:

Everything looks pretty good. If you were to cruise around with a slow foot it might make things a little easier to see. I've got work and school but in my free time I'll look at it a littler longer.

If you were to cruise around with a slow foot it might make things a little easier to see Hehe sorry about that I forgot about the 160 baud rate. I'll take another shot at it tonight. I just need to charge the battery on my cousins laptop. I might be doing the cam swap tomorrow. So I really want to log the data after that and find out what would help me out. I also want to start burning my own chips this summer. I'm A quick learner so if you can just point me in the right direction I would be eternally grateful. As for school and all, I understand. I currently work two jobs and go to school. To top it off I'm studying for my CCNA (I'm taking it next week on the 5th). I've gotten really deep into networking and it chews up alot of time sometimes.
