ignition control, blower and TBI
so i searched and did not find what i wanted. Here is my question.
My eventual goal is to have a 350 or 383 with a supercharger while using a TBI. (please no "don't use a TBI" speech, i'm gonna use it no matter what you say) Now I know i will need to get into DIY prom and my choice will be Dynamic EFI. I also know a 2 bar MAP sensor will be needed. Here is my question:
Can i use an Ignition box like SUM-850604 (summit racing street strip boost timing master/ multi spark Digital CD ignition) along side the ECM? Is this for use with carb only? Will it make tuning easier or harder? lastly am i missing anything?
Thanks for your responses ahead of time!

Re: ignition control, blower and TBI
The ign box is not necesary as the EBL has provisions for retarding the timing with boost.

Oh so the 2 bar MAP will see the boost and the program will adjust the timing accordingly. okay i see now. looks like i need a week with nothing to do so i can get this EBL, tuning and such down pat.

LOL, a week..........you'll get it in the ball park in a week. To trully get a tune "right" it takes months of learning on your part to fully understand what's going on and how to make it "right".
Don't get discouraged if you don't get it right away, the tuning skills you'll learn will stick with you for a lifetime and can be applied to any enine with any type of induction.
