Gremlens!
Well it is on the road once again. Listening to you guys have made the rebuild go easy. Almost like I know what I was doing. I just have a few more issues and I seem to get the best responce to all my questions on this form. The TBI Sean built me is cool except that not sure what size injectors 65 or 68's. The paper work is isn't really clear. It is hand written on the build sheet 68# with the FPR set at 25. That's another problem. It was supposed to be adjustable to 35+ pounds but... it is cranked down and I can only get 23#'s out of it but that is just enough no more. I guess what do you expect for almost $500 bucks.
I fixed the tranny could find no reason for it to break except the torq converter self destructed. What great luck. But now while I am trying and I do meen just trying to tune it the voltage module in the NEW MSD distributer failed. So the $300 dist cost me an other $50 along with the break down.
So I ask all of you for your support and anyone know why that should fail like that?
I live in the Portland Or. area of the country so there isn't any or I haven't found them yet that know how to tune this damn thing. I called a local performance engineering company that specialize in tuning GM's and he hasn't ever even heard of an EBL. He could burn me a chip but I got all caught up in everyone's raves about the EBL so I got cocky and sold my stock computer so there is no looking back. Rite now Bob sent me a BIN he made from my info and I have a VE learn in but it still aint running like it should. Makes matters worst I moved and don't have internet so I can't even rely on Bob to help me.
I am still reading all the raves on the EBL and I see their point I just am not experancing any joy yet.
Thanks for giving me 5 mins and I hope some of your advice. It is greatly excepted.

Re: Gremlens!
Things most likely cause msd failure - voltage spike, - heat, - crappy components just fail.
Huge numbers of rodders have bailed on msd components, the QC is too low, and the failure rate is too high.
Like it says in the cal doc the either BPC is useable, if you aren't running off the table one way or the other getting blm's in range. 65-68 will make virtually no difference.
Keep using learns, and please try to give us a better description of the difficulty your having.

Normally the injectors are rated at around 13 psi, what does the vendor say about it?
Stock replacement distributors are around 100$.
You need the laptop with the EBL program installed ready to use, at that point we can guide you.
