Wiring help needed !!!

Since I removed my ECM and ripped the wires out last year my wipers haven't been working.

I still have the wiper motro and everything installed, so I just need to know which pin needs ground and which needs positive current so that I can wire it myself...

I need this working to pass inspection...

It's not quite as simple as ground and 12VDC with the wiper motor. I went thru the same ordeal swapping an '88 harness into my '82 chassis.

The wires run thru connector C100, located on the drivers' side firewall just behind the wheelwell. C100 has two parts; the smaller connector is for the headlights & markers, the larger connector is engine and wiper motor.

You just need to identify which wires from C100 go to your wiper motor...color coding should be consistent on both sides of the connector so you can just match 'em up by color and re-connect them. If you'll post the year and model of your car I can see if I have a wiring diagram that matches it. If so, I'll post the pinout.

Thanks Kevin,
It's an '89 camaro RS that came with a 305TBI.

The c100 should be there and OK cause the headlights work and I never removed anything from down there...

Of course the "c100" is there dude! What he's referring to is the wiring junction block on the driver's side of the firewall. It has two separate harnesses that connect to it. One is your headlight harness, the other is the engine harness. What he's trying to tell you is that your wiper motor wiring is in the engine harness, not the headlight harness. If your wiper motor wires are still hooked up, you probably either have a blown fuse or a bad wiper motor.

Yup, C100 is a 2-part setup. The small connector is for the lights & markers, the big side is engine & wipers. Leave it to GM to dream up this combo...yeeesh.

I don't have that exact year & platform, but my '82 and '88 Helms books show the pinouts are nearly identical.

You're probably interested in the following wires on C100 (big connector side):

Pin/Color
D5/Gray
C7/Pink
C6/Dark Green
C5/Purple
B5/White

I'd check your wiper motor's connector for wires of these color, and go from there. Again, be aware this pinout is from an '88 GTA and yours may vary.
