Turn down fuel on a TBI

I removed alot of mis. garbage off my 305 TBI. A/C and Smog equipment are all gone. The car seems to be running rich. Is there anyway to lean down the amount of gas?

Just changed the plugs and wires, and is still running a little rough, with a strong gas smell!!

There is a tech artilce on how to make your regulator adjustable. You can also buy an aftermarket one. I would data log to see why you are running rich.
