headlights

I'm going to post this in electronics, too, but I know there's a bunch of knowledge lurking around this forum. My headlights don't come up on my 82 T/A... I have to use the ***** to crank them up. I hit the switch, nothing. no noise, no sound at all. I'm thinking it's an electrical problem... where do i start first? the relays? the lights come one, but the assemblies just don't move. I figure, I'll grab some new relays, and then plug them in and see if they work. what should I expect? this is my first F-body, and third gen car. it sat out for a while before i got it, and I'm slowly but surely building the car. I just got the car to crank and run today. I have some more tweaking left to do, and just wanted to knock out another bug.
