Car: 1992 Chevy Camaro RS

No Fuel
I have a 92 Camaro TBI. My car has been out of commission for awhile....and I am just now starting to work on starting it back up (the rear end went out about 4 months ago). I went ahead and took out the rear end and took out the tranny too so i could put the t56 in. Right now the engine is sitting in there by itself with everything hooked up. I relocated the battery to the hatch...and its all got power and everything. The interior lights all turn on fine....and the car cranks......problem is...the car wont start. I havent checked to see if I have spark yet (have class in a bit) but I definetly dont have any gas coming out of the injectors...and I havent heard the fuel pump prime. I am going to change out the ignition module just for the hell of it (its got a lifetime warranty).
I have checked the fuse in the engine bay for the fuel pump and its good.....and its got power.
All my gauges work except for the fuel level guage.
I will also replace my fuel filter soon.
I read somewhere on these boards that if i jumped the two thickest wires at the fuel pump relay...i should hear the pump prime....i did that but im the only one around so i couldnt go listen...but from where i was i didnt hear anything. However, the terminals at the relay were a little burnt...but the contacts still seemed good.
If the fuel pump is bad.....im gonna go ahead and put in the 4th gen plastic tank i have sitting here with a new fuel pump..........but I rather not do that right now (even though its probably the most logical time to do it....but its extra money and time that I dont want to spend right now.
What things should I check? Im assuming since the guage is reading nothing at all (doesnt budge...sits all the way to the right) for some reason there is no power going to the back.

To test the pump itself, you can put a jumper wire from a 12v source to the "g" terminal on the ALDL, which is the fuel pump diagnostic port (bottom row, farthest one on the left). If it's quiet enough, you should be able to hear the buzz from inside the car.
