would a bad hazard light switch cause this

would a bad hazard light switch cause the right turn signals not to work. i know the problem is somewhere in the steering colum. any easy fixs

Replace the Flasher or the bulb. Do the easy things first.

Car: 88 GTA Notchback
Engine: Edelbrock'd 5.7L TPI
Transmission: Stage 2 Trans go 700R4
Axle/Gears: 3.27 9 Bolt BW
check the bulbs on the right side in the tail lights and the side markers.
I had this problem with mine where the signal would go on but the flasher wouldn't work. Replaced the flasher twice and still same thing. Checked all the bulbs in the tail lights and found some weren't making a proper connection, reseated the bulbs and it started flashing.
