Are you guys with Camaros as nuts over these Hydroboosters as the guys over at the C3 Corvette forum? Being a GM brand it'd probably be just as easy to install a Hydrobooster in a Camaro or Firebird as it is in a Corvette. Just looking for opinions.

It's a brake booster that's operated off of the power steering pump pressure rather than vacuum. Especially helpful in high overlap cam and supercharger applications. Developed for use on diesel vehicles.
If you search for "hydraboost", you'll find more info and some pics.
Yeah, I've got this technical retentive compulsive disorder thing - "hydraulic boost" -> "hydra-boost" -> "hydraboost" makes sense to me. But, that's just me.
Its ironic that someone posted this, as i am currently involved in installing hydroboost on my car. I got the whole setup including lines from a chevy truck at the wrecking yard, its a fairly straitforward installation, and pretty cool to boot. Just make sure you get your pushrod length right. If you block off the vent port in the master cylinder, it will get ugly quick, at least as soon as the brake fluid gets hot.
I do have a packet of information I put together for all my C3 buddies. It's in a ZIP folder so if you're interested in learning more or maybe getting one just PM me your email address and I'll email the file to you.
