Finally It's running!
Well after talking with you all I finally got it running. I have the base timing set to 13degrees. Only problem now is tuning. Last night I took it out and got a code 44 (running lean). But when it's idleing the exhaust smells so rich it burns the eyes. So my question is would a chip solve this problem or is something else out of whack. In order for it to idle I have to adjust the idle screw to about a grand. And when I do that the TPS is no longer set at .54v and I have no idea what the map sensor is doing. Not sure how to test it. I know it takes a while for the computer to relearn everything, but I'm wondering if it will learn with the new cam. It has a very nice idle, lopey but not too extreme. So I just need a nudge in the right direction for this tuning and if a chip will solve the problem then so be it. Thanks for any help. By the way I'm still running 22lb injectors I believe. They are from Bosch the jellow ones.

Ya know I had that same problem with my car. Whenever I set the idle correctly then the TPS is off and I can't ever get the idle and TPS to be synced. I have a 5.7 block with 305 everything else including computer and fuel injectors. Maybe that's my problem lol.
