TBI- Carb Swap

Alright guys, two quick questions.

As the title suggests, I am planning a TBI-Carb swap for my '88 Iroc. I know all about the mechanical aspect of the swap, but am a bit shakey on certain parts.

Once I remove the stock Distributor and Intake manifold/Injection System, what are my options for replacement distributors? Am I forced to go with a Vacuum Advance/non-electronic distributor?

Also, does anybody know where I can find the cylinder head flow data for the 1988 L98? Oddly enough, I bought a car with a 305 TBI system on top of a rebuilt Corvette L98. I plan on taking the heads off and milling them down .010 to get a bit more compression, and was wondering if I should also machine the heads to get more airflow.

Thanks guys, any advice is appreciated.
