Starting issues
Sometimes I turn the key and just get a click from the starter. Battery is old but shows 12.4 volts with a meter. This happened on the old engine as well. This is a new engine, new starter, new everything.
Could the battery's amps be low? Im lost....

Check your voltage on the start wire at the solenoid. You could be losing significant voltage through the chain - neutral safety switch, ignition switch, bulkhead connection, etc. I finally just installed a remote solenoid and said goodbye to the problem.

Re: Starting issues
Yup, that was the problem. I direct connected the wire to the battery and shazam.
How do I bypass all that stuff though? Might be easier to just wire up a push button start, which i wouldnt mind.
Need a new battery too, my A1000 is really draining me. Windows are slower than normal (snails), and I hear the pump slow when I turn the lights on.
