oil problem, Help fast!!!

Hey guys I just pulled off my passenger valve cover and I did not take a shower in oil, all of the push rods were dribbling oil except cyl 7 the second one from the back was squirting a little what should I do. I have work in 15 minutes!!! There is a clicking noise : ( but it does not appear to be the rocker arm I think that is exhaust but I really need to get an oil pressure gague on there.

First of all, the passenger side cyls. are 2-4-6-8. The cyl. your refering to is #
6. An oil pressure gauge isn't going to help. If I were you, I would check your exaust manifold to exaust pipe bolts. Soak them with a shot of PB blaster penatrating oil (cheap at Auto zone) before you tighten them (when engine is cold) if you don't, you risk breaking the stud off the exaust manifold.

Re: oil problem, Help fast!!!

I'm sorry you are cirtainly correct, It is cylinder 8 brain fart. Yhe guy at the local machine shop said that I was getting enough oil so I'm not worried about that any more. I found the exhaust leak it is at that butterfly valve that opens up when the car warms up on the passenger manifold. I'll get a gasket or pull off the manifold and weld it on.
