Speedo cable or something else?
Hey guys Im new to the forums. I just bought a 92 RS 25th anniversary and the previous owner broke the speedo. It works sometimes when you get on it but when it does work it seems to shift much better. Its an automatic by the way. Id like to at least get an idea on what to do before I start buying things and find out that wasnt the problem. Help?

If I remember correctly, you don't have a shift cable. That car should have an electronic speedometer. Check the wiring going to the tailshaft of the tramsmission to be sure you don't have damaged wires or connector.
Sometime it works, sometimes it don't sounds like a connection problem.
