Car: 92 RS Engine: 3.1 V6 Transmission: 700R4 | idling high
| i just installed a tank and sending unit(which i will have to replace again has the float doesn't work) into my 92 v6 rs. The car hasn't ran in about 4 years. Prior to starting the car i changed the belt, air filter, gas filter, oil and replaced the fuel lines (as there was rust in the previous tank). I started it up for the first time last night. It idled up and down at first which i fiquered was nornal for not working in four years. So i let it run for about 15-20 mintues which at that times it evened out to around the 3 rpm mark(not sure if the v6 is mearsured in 100's or 1000's) is that normal. when i give it only a little gas it red lines. Maybe i am not use to a v6 as i currently have a four banger. | | | |
