injectors

Is there a way that you can identify what pound injectors you have when you don't see any marking on them. I got them free with a TPI setup and don't know where they came from. Help is needed. Thanks.

Re: injectors

That's a tough one, I just replaced the injectors on my lb9 and was surprised to see no markings at all on the stock ones.

Im not 100% on this but Id guess if they have no markings (what color are they anyway?) that they are stock. If you know what engine the tpi set up came off of and they are stock, then they are 19# if it's off a 305, 22# off of a 350. Also what year did the tpi come off of? If it's 89+, you may want to seriously consider replacing them anyway. You can get a set of flow matched bosch 3s from numerous sites for less than $200 and you can get the correct flow for your application.

You could also consider sending them off for reconditioning and the company you send them to can tell you most likely. This probably isn't worth it if they are the 89+ and even if they aren't, the bosch 3s would still be a good upgrade.

What is your application anyway?

Re: injectors

I got a bucket full of injectors. Most of them look to be a blue and black two tone look. There is a couple of numbers on the top of some of the injectors by the electrical plug. Numbers are faded but look to read

2075 17090882 (the space is intentional, basically two number groups)

If someone knows the gm part number for injectors, that might shed some light on the subject. I am in the process of converting my brothers v6 camaro to a 350 tpi and bought a tpi system with a bunch of other stuff. The injectors and a computer that we can't use were included, computer is for MAF, not MAP, I'm assuming some of these injectors were off of the 88 305 tpi 5 speed car the computer is from.
