Injector/fuel pump question

I have a ZZ383 in an 88 IROC that runs great. Talented local tuner and Holly Commander have the EFI working fabulous. During a final road tune the 30# injectors were at 115% of duty cycle with the stock fuel pump. With that said, IF i go to bigger injectors (I'm thinking 36#-42#), would I need to upgrade to a higher capacity fuel pump to go along with the injectors? Thanks

Re: Injector/fuel pump question

You are correct. Mine is a calculated number of injector open time versus rpm.

Re: Injector/fuel pump question

I would Eliminate the tiny FP coupler. Install 3/8 aluminum line flare and install a union coupler in it's place. Flare the other end. install a sockfilter. Upgrade to a external AEM fuel pump & lines, to -AN fittings.

Re: Injector/fuel pump question

Put a 255 pump in! It may be the pump and not the injectors
