Car: 87 GTA / G8 GT Engine: 5.7L / 6.0L Transmission: auto's :( | fuel tk | I'm trying to stop a very small leak for the second time. The first time I was just lazy and didn't clean the area well enough. It's on bottom of the tank on the right hand side just above the trac bar. This time I cleaned it with carb cleaner and scuffed it a little with some sandpaper. It's a very small crack width of a fingernail and about 3/8". It really just sweats when it hits bumps but with a full tank it sweats pretty badly from the weight. If the second time doesn't work any recommendations what to use for the 3rd. I used an epoxy from advance auto that you just knead until warm then stick it on. I'm leaning toward JB Weld. | | |
