crank swap questions
Ok Ive tried searching google and on here but I cant get a good answer.
Ive got 2 l98s with spun rod bearings and a good tbi 350.
I want to use the l98 block because of the roller cam.
Can I just swap the crank and rods from the tbi motor to my l98 engine and put in new bearings and go? Or will I have to have machine work and all that crap?
Or should I just run the tbi Shortblock with a flat tappet cam and not worry with swaping all that crap?
Ill be having one of the l98s built in a few years anyways so this tbi motor would only be in there till then anyways.
Thanks

I would just run the TBI 350 bottom end for a while unless you want to get into a full rebuild.
I would

Re: crank swap questions
the guy said it was a 94 or 95 But I thought they were all flat tappet cam blocks?
I just dont know if its gonna be worth it for me to go threw all the trouble just for a roller cam, What will I lose maybe 10hp?
