Hunting Iroc, not the good kind.
Hey guys,
Im posting again with some questions to hopefully get some good answers like last time.
I recently bought an 87 Iroc z with the l98 5.7 tpi..
The car didnt run when i bought it, and with some elbow grease (money) and some expertise (head scratching and thirdgen.org searching) I got it running.
So basically i had to replace the dizzy pickup and the ignition control module, and bam. Started.
AS OF RIGHT NOW: Its hunting at idle when cold, fluctuating quite drastically in RPM's.
THE QUESTION IS: When i pulled off the IAC connector, there seemed to be oil in the connector. Is that a red-flag saying THIS IS BROKEN?
Any help would be appreciated!
