Oil pressure gauge not working
Hey guys new problem..
86 trans am lg4 5.0 with 700r4 auto.
My oil pressure gauge is not working, when I start car it goes up to "0" and no further, had car checked for pressure it's good but gauge won't read it.
Could it be the pressure sensor??? Or maybe gauge just the gauge needs replacing??
Thanks in advance for any help!!

Re: Oil pressure gauge not working
Or maybe, the wire is disconnected from the sending unit and touching ground.
Prolly not the gauge, in any case.

Re: Oil pressure gauge not working
I'll check the wires again. Thanks
I noticed when out tonight, well someone else told me that when I turn on my right blinker the whole right rear tail light goes out.
I read through other post and found people have bad wires or "greenies" growing on the sockets. Or even diff light bulb numbers. I checked for bulb numbers and cut or open wires and even looked for the green growing stuff. Right side is also dimmer then left side. I can't find any bad wires or bad bulbs.. I checked with volt/ohm meter all sockets the right looses power with blinker turned on. My "guess" would be switch?? Relay and fuses all good
Again I appreciate all your help. I clearly need it...
I'll have the nicest bird after you guys are done helping me

Re: Oil pressure gauge not working
Oil pressure gauge all fixed!!!!
Turns out wasn't oil pressure sender. It was the plastic around the wire that goes into the sender it was melted a little bit so it would go on, but not clip tight.
I Replaced sender anyways, for $8 why not..
Again I understand I was posting wrong spots
But headlights also fixed. When lights were off. All lights and blinkers worked fine. With lights on, the right blinker would blink very slow. Turned out the wire to the right front side marker light has grounding out. Fixed wire all lights are all good now..
Hope my fixes can help others with similar problems..
Thanks for the help guys
