sbc build.

So I picked up a 86 z28 98k on the clock. 5spd. Rough around the edges but rust free and runs ok. Guy I got it from couldn't tell me much about engine. 350 bored .40. Unknown bottom end and cam. Edlebrock performer and a holley 750 double pumper. I'm not new to auto mechanics or high hp cars it's just my experience is with turbo rotaries and 4 cylinders. New to v8. I plan on pulling it and going thru everything . Planning on 862 heads with larger valves and a port, roller rockers etc and want to put down lots of power with a broad power band. I also plan on spraying it eventually so want it to be setup for that from get go. I'm stuck on the cam. That's where I need the most advice. Help is appreciated and I've learned a lot from the forum so far.
