Fuel Injection Pressure Won't Hold

Fuel Injection Pressure Won't Hold
I'm stumped. This is my first post so forgive me if I'm not doing this right. I have a 3.8 Camaro that starts then dies after about 2 seconds. Fuel pressure rises to 51 psi with key on and goes immediately to zero when pump goes off. I replaced regulator. Same thing. Replaced complete pump module. Same thing. I tested an extra rail and injectors--same thing. I'm at a loss. Is there anywhere else that could cause this? It will always start quickly but dies and pressure goes to zero. Thanks!

First, I would be absolutely sure my gauge was reading accurate. You can rent pressure gauges from autozone and checker, just good peace of mind to see it happen on more than one gauge.
Dropping instantly to zero would indicate a massive leak somewhere. If indeed you replaced the regulator and pump already, I would visually inspect the fuel lines (that much coming out would not be hard to spot). Afterward I would suspect injectors maybe? Seems like there are 3 places fuel could lose pressure, regulator, pump and injectors.

Thanks. I don't see any leaks in the driveway but I will do a more thorough search. I suspected pump check valve but did replace the complete module.
I appreciate your help.
I appreciate your help.

I am by no means a professional, just thought of a few things I might check if in your shoes. Hope you get it figured out.

Re: Fuel Injection Pressure Won't Hold
I'm at a loss and need an opinion. I replaced the fuel pump module because it was not holding pressure. Also replaced fuel pressure regulator. Now it is holding pressure of about 48 pounds. Problem is the car starts and runs about 5 seconds or so and then shuts off. It will always start and do this. It sometimes shows a P0102 MAF code. One time it had this code when it was running OK and when I reset the code it started doing this. After a few attempts it started to run but now is doing this again. That's why I changed the pump. I'm thinking there might be a problem with the PCM. Seems like something is sending a signal to shut off the injectors. I have a new oil pressure switch and it registers pressure so it's not that shutting the car down.
It's a 96 RS 3.8. I know this is a 3rd gen forum but my son just bought this car so I'd appreciate you guy's help because I respect your opinion. I'm at a loss.
