What kind of intake is this?
The attached pic shows an EFI intake I have never seen before. I know it was put on by Lingenfelter in the early 90s to replace the stock TPI but I have not found out what it really is. Anybody have some ideas?
This is on my Dad's new-used 86 Vette with a 383 (Boy, can that thing move! ). I'm just curious in case we ever have to work on it.
Thanks much!
Dale

That's right, it's a superram. They send out smooth replacement tops for free because the top with the ridges would warp from heat. This may just be an older version of it, though.

super ram is correct, it's designed by lingenfelter and sold at LPE and accel. it's pretty much king for torque on a tuned port.

Thanks everybody for clearing up this little mystery! I found some good info about the super ram and it appears to be a pretty spiffy setup.
Thanks again :hail:
