Whent out tonight and found some folks just grouped up in a parkin lot so i stopped just to see what was up since im still kinda new here. They were about to go street race alittle and I got coaxed into Runnin with a 96 or so F150 regular cab with a 302 and 5 speed. He had exhaust but i think that was about it. We raced a little more than a 1/4 i think cause i was in 4th gear when it was over. But from the jump i had him by about a car and a half maybe a little less. By the end of the run he was at my door but i managed to hold him off. He was really cool about it and thanked me for runnin him. I had two complements that made me feel really good....one guy in a 350 chevy truck said," thats more than a 305 under there." And another said,"that little 305 will run". I was pleased. I thought i was gonna loose that one. Thanks to a posi rear i guess for the jump, 3.08's. But thats not bad considerin that i have no reverse and 3rd and 4th syncronizers are gone. Runnin stock 215 65 15's too. Got some 235 60's goin on next week. But thats the 1st run ive had since ive been here. Only mods i got are the ones in my sig. One question though...my tach dont work so i shift by ear. <<not very efficent i dont think....but for about 300rpms maybe around 3000 my car kinda dies out a little and then kicks back in. What could be causin that? Anyways...it was a good night...seen some baddass rides and walked away with a win! Cant wait to really start moddin up!...damn bills!

my ride kinda dies stalls for about 250rpms around 3000 maybe 3500....what could be causin that? But anyways...a win is a win.
