So i found out my friend leases a new 2007 Trailblazer SS, with just rear-wheel drive, no AWD stuff. And as many of u know, the SS comes with a vette engine. Tonight we all went out and had some fun, but anyways as we decided to head on home, the urge to test our toys out got bigger

He had one passenger, i had 2 passengers. I have all the mods listed in my sig, his is bone stock. And i played by my rules, only from stop. We get to the first light, its red. So of course friends all hyped up, oh man lets do this, lets do this! W.E. lets just have some fun i guess.

Light turns green, and squeel off the stop and probably pulled a good car length on him and continued to have em all the way up to 70 where i left off cuz it was like a 45 road. I was actually pumped, i thought his SUV would roast me, that thing packs 395hp and 400torque. Anyways we did it 2 more times, and each time i took em off the stop hard, and was starting to reel in at about 70 where we let off.

Awesome nite, and he was REALLY surprised, he didnt think my car would walk him like that. But i knew in a 1/4 he would have me, cuz it def would of passed me after 70. But then he would stop at 130 cuz of governer limiter and i keep going hehe, oh but thats pass 1/4, one can always wonder.

Overall good nite..............oh yeah we both got tickets too, some asses phoned us in and after we did our races we had a cop car do a u-turn and starting following us. And on top of that one of my friends in a Cherokee who was with us the whole time decided to speed up pass me JUST as i noticed ANOTHER cop car one the side street, who i knew just clocked my friend who was doing over speed limit, cuz i know i wasnt at that time, neither was the SS guys.

And of course who do they pull over, yeah me and SS. Short story, they couldnt get us on racing cuz the people called in didnt leave name to contact em, but they put us at 7 over speed where they clocked us, but i know it wasnt us it was the cherokee cuz thats the only time they had a cop that was using a gun, i cant believe it. Anyways well fight in court, could of been worse i guess.

It's always fun to race a buddy for braggin rights. You should remember though the SS has the LS2 motor it weighs like 4500 pounds. That's about 1000 pounds more than your car with passengers.

I have had a love affair with the TBSS since it was released. So appealling. But up here, I priced one out at $45 CND!!!! That's a bit much. My car is paid for, I have no desire to be in debt for a car for that much at this juncture. Someday though. I hear GM will stop making them 2009.

BTW, your car is beautiful GTATransAm. Definetly a keeper. Where did you buy your spoiler from? And are you happy with it?
But it is a VERY nice car. Your pics on your domain page really have it looking good.

And the cardomain page, im really happy about, i do think it looks damn sweet as well. Though ive been out of the loop for a very long time, and not updated it, so hoping warm weather gets it going. Only other GTA like mine ive seen around here happens to live down the same street, an 88 GTA notchback hehe.

People always don't take into consideration that its a 4750lbs sled to get up and going...
They are great trucks, my friend has one and we have fun ALL the time.
I race him in my 350Z, beat him all the time, but hey its still fun
