Yeah, I see alot of women driving these muscle cars & most of them probably don't have any real understanding or appreciation for what the car comes from or what it can do. I say ban women from owning muscle/pony cars since most of them can't even drive a regular car/truck right.

I haven't had a chance yet to race one of these new Camaro's. I've raced a 2007 Mustang GT. Heck, come to think of it I've never had the chance to race a Camaro yet!

I hope you read what I said, noticed I said most, not all. But most don't. And I don't know what your lady drives so I can't say anything to that effect but give a woman a cellphone, some make up & jewelry & she'll be occupied with other stuff in a car.

I could take the 02 T-Bird (and have before) and the Audi I'd be willing to take up on. The Vette, well, those are always faster, we know that. And from the line of work I come from we don't take to kindly to women anyway, just the way it is.

Go big tough...taking down a '02 Thunderbird...I'm sure the rest of the idiots you hang out with are jealous. The S4 would run circles around your heap....

Come race my car, thirdgen to thirdgen...hell I'll even have that guy's wife drive it just to make you look silly.

Yeah, women can do alot of things good, sometimes better than men, but there are more better men drivers than women drivers. That's a fact, but you don't have to take my word for it. And now since you're calling me a name it's open season. The only retard here is you, for thinking I've got my head up my ****. If you don't like what I say or what my opinion is don't respond to it. Simple as that.

It'd be hard to do anything seeing as how you live all the way near Philly. If you were here sure, we could do something. I like to do things for fun, so I'm not really a ***** about winning or losing. As far as people I hang around, lol, I don't hang around alot of people because I have alot of crap to deal with in my life. The personal attacks are lame guys, stick to the car stuff & let's not get out of hand here. If you don't like my opinion about something then don't respond to it. It's that easy. And seeing that none of you have ever met me nor met my car or seen the way I drive (which is a mixture of sanely & aggressive) if I ever thought that someone might try to do something to me in a race I'll run them off the road. I've done it before in defense of myself & my men, so say what you want, who suck up to women too much.

Re: Anyone take down a new SS

I wasn't serious, your car isn't worth my time. It's an open forum, you feel you have the right to make a retarded comment but then whine when people call you out on it.

You're certainly entitled to your opinion, as are we. The door swings both ways. If women shouldn't be allowed to drive pony cars then someone with an IQ of less than 10 shouldn't be allowed...looks like you're SOL.

Maybe you were hurt by a woman, maybe you're jealous that some are driving nicer/faster cars than you...who knows...stereotypes can get nasty...I'm sure we could find plenty about you based on the lovely state you live in.

I think that the V-6 camaros really takes away from the appeal of driving the SS version...I think the v6 ones make the new camaro less desirable and less unique because it putrs too many of them on the road...

The V6 versions are still probably faster than any stock 3rd gen.

not really. ive been on a few of the 5thgen boards and the fastest times for stock V6s are in the high 14s (i think it was a 14.7 at 95/96mph). a well driven LB9 5speed can hit that time, and the 350TPI can run into the low 14s stock. then theres the TTA, but that car is in a whole different league than most 3rdgens

Ok You not only have an open mind, but you sound you like you work in a transexual boutique! my daughter would whip you in the S4. I am amazed at the thought process or lack of, so to speak, we are witnessing here. I should of let this one be, sorry to the rest of the people on this thread. Yeah, pal come and race my third gen anytime, I'll let my wife drive and hand it to you on a plate....

Pretty close though, those new V6's are pretty healthy.

The V6 version weighs in at 3750 lbs, if that was down to the weight of a V6 3rd gen then there would be no contest.

Well then I feel confident in taking at least the new v6 camaro with my bone stock z28 I run consistent 14.2 @ 98. Guy argued with me at the track because he didnt believe any stock third gen would run that hard....he got so beligerant they kicked him out.

Re: Anyone take down a new SS

Ive driven way to many 5th gens. Ive driven about 25 SS and 1 v6. I think a 3rd gen could beat a v6. The best SS I have driven has been the callaway camaros.
Are you insinuating that youve beat an SS? With a TBI? Or are you just saying that youve driven with them?

Im saying with a 5.7 in a third gen it could take a v6 5th gen. Ive never tried to race anyone with my TBI. Ive driven the 5th gens for work.

That's so true. Even though it isn't... But who cares. That's how everyone knows the 5th gens as.
