I was wondering about that. There is a reference above to it being limited to five cars per session. That seems like a lot to me.

I take it that is you "ROD"? hardcore??? Curious, now that you are here and all . G boby, Monte SS, need a questamate on a 4 and 6 point cage for my SS. James "88redxsty" Mentioned you have a Gbody there with a cage I can see?? I would love to come and see your work soon if I could?? I am in Welland. What would be the best route from say.... Hwy 20 and Regional Rd 24 ?? I have been quoted many prices and they vary to much from place to place, kinda scares me sometimes.. But F Bird Speaks highly of you so... Let em have a idea as to cost for the cage and I would like to arrange a time to come out if I could. Let me know or email me even.

Thanks Much!

Convertables shouldn't need them. They should have had some sort of SFC installed when the roof conversion was done.

I might be in, depending on the final price and how it turns out (also on if my car is out of storage by then, had the insurance put back on, passed it's e-test, and gotten it's sticker renewed). If there's any trace of snow on the ground then my car won't be going anywhere... lol

I'm gonna check out Alex's contact that welded in his sfc's. $300 for a set made to my specifications and design is not bad. At the least then to have him copy Alex's sfc's which are MAC sfc's.

Thanks Rod for taking the time to join our group. This was getting out of hand. As Daz said, working from memory was killing me!

I'm glad questions are now answered and interest has picked up.

Sorry guys about the 5 a day. I got my info mixed up. What I want to do is confirm 5 guys first and go from there to setting up a date. I'll let everyone know when I'm going so you can come watch.

Price again is $350 OR less if we confirm a group purchase.

Roughly a 1 hour drive from Mississauga.

SFC's should help eliminate alot of my squeeks and rattles, especially when the top is up.

Just got back from Rod' shop. Great guy! Who really knows what he is talking about. I will be usuing his work for sure! With no questions. I spent the entire afternoon there with Rod. about 3.5 hrs to be exact. He was very responsive and informative. Guys this is the guy for all of us! Now we have one thing we need to understand though. We already knwo that he cannot do 5 cars in a day. He may be able to do 3..maybe! But he will need us out of his way so he can do the work! So maybe we can go out and roam the Falls and leave him to do what he does best. He has a very sweet Nova that runs 9's! on a sbc. WOW! I say...WOW! So..we need to find out who is really serious here! I know I am. So if Daz being that he started this thread so it's his venue. wants to start a new thread with a poll or something, strictly for people who are really interested then we can get the ball rolling here. So lets start figureing this all out. Rod's shop is not even a 10 minute drvie from my house so anytime is good for me, but he will need my car for at least a day or two to do my cage so. Lets here the thoughts???

Here is his beast! Very sweet car!!!

LOL! You guys never said you were there!

That sounds cool James! Hey Colin we don't have to go to a bar, bar. But like said, we can't come down in one huge group and expect Rod to be able to do them all in one day. He also has other customers too, I'm sure. I'm sure Rod can pencel everyone in, just have to work it out. We will need to spread things out, maybe two cars at a time even at most. Lets see how many are truely serious. And we can work something out with Rod. Basically we can't go in a group of 10 people or even 5 and except each and everyones car gets done. It just not possible. So spreading out everyone will be easier on everyone. Yes/No??

Yes, obviously I will be going. First!

I'll go second or whenever. I can make it down anyday pretty much but I won't be able to make it there until about noon at the earliest unless the day happens to fall on one of my two or three days off work a month.

Only thing I care about is that I'd like to see some installed SFC's before I commit 100%. But as I stand now I'm 99.9% sure I'm in.

We will have to spread it out, so if May is good for you, and you are seriuos! Then I am sure it can be worked out no problem. But these are "for sures" we need, not "Yeah I guess so" We can't tell Rod we are bringing a total of 20 people take a dsicount and only end up bringing him 10. See what I mean???

that is why I posted in this thread cause thats what you wanted .......if i HAD QUESTIONS HERE . If serious ...I will post in the other thread

Here is the low down everyone. First of all, the price of $350 per set was a price given to James for his car alone! We are unsure of the actrual discount yet. If we get 10 people and fix it up that 2 cars go per day for 5 days straight, that is 10 cars. I have been reasured by Rod that the savings will be considerable. These are welded in completely and not tach welded. They are manderal bent! Which is a big +. And these are not manufactured, they are custom to each inviduals cars need. There are many factors that affect the install, more due to different exhaust setups then anything. This is a for sure deal here with Rod, and we will be getting our cars fitted for what we need. Rod's shop is also not just Roll Cages and SFC's. He is capable of doing everything! All types of engine work, head work. Parts and sevice! He also shortens rear ends, does tubbs. etc. He is a PROFESSIONAL! He's has been in this field of work longer then some of you have been alive! So we really need to figure things out. We have 4 confirmed installs now and we need 4 - 6 more cars to finalize the deal. So if you really want to get these SFC this time let James Daz or myself know, or answer in the Sticky above..only if you are for sure though please!

Thanks everyone!

Keiran

You can get them for $350 anytime. The savings will only work for the GP!
